The host and the agency are the worst to contact, they are unresponsive, be sure to check washrooms and bin before you check in coz they don’t care. Also, they won’t reply to your issues as stated in an hour, they will reply to you after you check out with a one liner stating “can’t provide refund”. They didn’t even apologise for the inconvenience caused. Very rude and inconsiderate host and agency. Highly don’t recommend this listing.

This is a great place to stay - very clean and new with great showers and beds! Lots of room to spread out for our family with three adult children. Disappointingly, we chose this spot due to my research indicating it was a surf beach but we were disappointed on that front. The water is still enough to go paddleboarding so would suit young children or those who don't like waves. Nearby Shoal Bay has paddleboards and sea kayaks for hire. Tuna Crescent is walking distance to Tomaree National Park, local beach (with walk to the island including lighthouse when tide is low), local surf club with a restaurant and cafe, but we had to hop in the car to get to other beaches, restaurants, shops. We didn't mind because we got to wake up to a gorgeous view each day and the neighbourhood was quiet. For those who like shopping, Nelson's Bay would suit better. Recommend The Point Seafood Restaurant in Soldiers Point (1/2 hr drive) - ($$) Would stay here again!

Great location and view. Big rooms and comfy. Bit of a weird layout with electrical switches hidden behind doors. Lounge on deck held together with gaffa tape.
