Little Point Sable is a quiet area a short drive from the attractions of the Silver Lake area, surrounded by the natural beauty of the Lake Michigan shore. Most cottages around See the Light are occupied in the summer season, but the dunes and woods that surround the neighborhood ensure the area feels private year-round. In Fall, Winter and Spring, there are fewer residents and you have the Point to yourself, and an opportunity for quiet rest and retreat.

Wide sandy beach in front of the cottage is a five-minute walk over two low dunes. Little Point Sable state park is a five-minute walk down the road and offers a paved path (almost) to the beach. Parking is available at the State Park but requires a fee during the summer months and can be limited at peak times. Golden Township Beach is a 10-minute walk down the road and offers free parking on a first come, first serve basis and is also limited at peak times. Parking for 3 cars available in the driveway, no street parking is allowed.
Groceries, gas, restaurants and activities are available during the summer season a 10-minute drive away to the Silver Lake area. During the Fall, Winter and early Spring, these amenities are located most closely in Hart, MI, a 20-minute drive.
