We thoroughly enjoyed our all-too-brief stay at Julia’s charming cottage. The photos accurately represent the space, which is clean and cozy with an eclectic and welcoming vibe. What they don’t show is that the bed is comfortable, the neighbors are friendly by day and quiet at night, and the host provided several thoughtful amenities. These include brochures describing local attractions, a list of nearby shops and restaurants, and games and interesting reading material. The property is also very well located and nearly everyplace we visited was within easy walking distance or only a short drive away. We hope to return when the weather is more conducive to borrowing the loaner bikes that were available. We also appreciated the smooth reservation process, clear check-in and check-out instructions, and proactive email and text communications. It is obvious why Julia is a Super Host and we look forward to enjoying her kind hospitality again, hopefully soon.

The Cottage was perfect for the two of us. We were able to make a nice breakfast and dinner in the kitchen when we chose to and the screened in porch was private and peaceful. Oxford is a beautiful and very walkable small town surrounded by water and filled with history. We had an excellent extended weekend there and Julia’s Cottage made the stay all the more enjoyable. It will be our go to place on future visits.
