When you arrive, you will immediately feel at home. Take off your shoes and relax. Tastefully decorated without clutter. Hickory hardwood floors and custom woodwork abound! Owners pride themselves on creating an atmosphere exceeding your expectations. Owners have stayed at many short-term rentals and hope their experiences will create your stay to be memorable and worry free. 1800 square feet with every inch utilized. The design and layout of the home flow well. From a huge pantry adjacent to the kitchen, to comfortable bedrooms with ample closet space and dressers, and a nice deck in the backyard, the choices in home decorating makes you immediately feel at ease and relaxed.

We’ve stayed at this property several times now and it really feel like a second home to us! I love the comfort of walking into this clean and immaculate house!
Cindy was extremely friendly and kept in contact to make sure everything was ok upon arrival, the inside of this home is immaculate! So very well put together! We were in town for state wrestling meet and it was the perfect location with grocery stores near by to make meals at home! No hotel living for us for the weekend! Thank you again Cindy!! We look forward to our next visit!
This was our 4th stay at this great Airbnb “home away from home”. We love everything about it and the hosts are awesome! We’re planning to return in March.

Had a wonderful 4 night stay during cheer state for my daughters. We enjoyed playing monopoly and dominos and ordering Uber eats between their cheer events. Cindy was super accommodating and friendly. Had a great time, thank you!

Centrally located in Dekalb. Downtown is within walking distance, or a short drive. Dekalb is home to Northern Illinois University, the Ellwood House, and the restored Egyptian Theatre. Quick and easy access to Sycamore Road which in only a few minutes leads to Jewel, Walmart, and other big box stores. Sycamore Road leads to neighboring town of Sycamore. Many good restaurants in both downtown Dekalb and Sycamore. A binder is in the home with much more information on local favorite and recommended restaurants / things to do.

My husband Pete and I live locally. Over the years we have travelled quite a bit. We never stay in hotels; we always stay in airbnb's or timeshares. We have always been lucky to have great hosts who seem to think of everything to provide to their guests. We have furnished the home as if we were staying there ourselves.
