Dom is a great host and we really enjoyed staying at his place for a month. I was working remotely so the fast wifi was well received. The house is big and has everything you need. Noise from the school next door might bother you if you want peace and quiet but it wasn’t a deal breaker for me. Tegueste is a pleasant town with great access to the north and south of the island.

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt bei Dom in Tegueste. Das Haus ist sehr groß und gut gelegen. Die Kommunikation mit Dom und seinem Vater verlief super. Dom hatte viele gute Tips für uns und war immer erreichbar, falls es Probleme gab. Wir waren allerdings etwas enttäuscht, dass das versprochene schnelle Internet nur im Erdgeschoss verfügbar war. Im ersten Stock hatte ich in einem der Zimmer mit Einzelbett ab und an Verbindungsprobleme und längere Ladezeiten. Auf der Dachterrasse ist kein WiFi mehr verfügbar, weshalb das Arbeiten dort unmöglich ist, sofern man auf Internet angewiesen ist. Es ist zu erwähnen, dass nebenan eine Grundschule ist. Die Kinder sind allerdings nicht nur zu den Pausenzeiten laut, sondern auch bei guten Wetter durchgängig bis ca 16Uhr.

Domingo’s house has everything that you need for a longer or a shorter stay. It is located in a really nice non-touristy area with lots of restaurants and other services, and awesome hiking trails and the fantastic Anaga national park just around the corner (walking distance from the house). We stayed in Domingo’s house for a month working remotely, and we especially enjoyed the fast internet, well-equipped kitchen and the closeness to nature with varying hiking trails. Also just a 15 minute bus ride to La Laguna which is a really cosy and bustling university town with lots of nice restaurants, bars, and shops. Domingo was super helpful throughout the stay and really went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, even bringing us a wifi-extender and buying us new kitchen knives when mentioning the old ones were a bit dull. I definitely recommend this house to someone who likes cooking, needs good internet and wants to stay in a local town away from the tourists and close to nature :)

We had a wonderful stay at Dom's house in Tegueste. The house has everything you need for a family holiday, and is walking distance to bakeries, cafes, and the shops. We were there at Christmas time, and Dom had thoughtfully put up a small Christmas tree and some decorations. He also made sure there was cereal, milk and coffee for our first morning, which I really appreciated as we arrived late at night. We had no problems at all during our stay, and it was reassuring that Dom checked in with me a couple of times to ask if there was anything we needed. Tegueste is a wonderful location, close to the mountains and to the coast. We explored a lot of the north east of Tenerife from here. We would absolutely stay at Dom's place again if we return to Tenerife.
