my family and I enjoyed our stay here visiting some family who are located not to far. we had quite the laugh sometimes going and climbing up the side of a mountain in a 04 conversion fan! not the smallest car to take up there. All was well and my son loved having his first out of state vacation at this location. keeps asking can we go back to the cabin?! great views even got a rainbow one evening. thank you for giving a great place to stay for our vacation! -courtney

Lisa is a phenomenal host. She’s incredibly responsive and helpful for anything you need while there. The views are breathtaking and it’s so quiet and private. The drive up and down the mountain is a bit terrifying but you adapt after the first couple trips. We didn’t have any wifi even though it is advertised as having wifi, unfortunately Lisa tried to resolve this but was unable to for the duration of our stay (wouldn’t have been a problem but there is also limited service in the area as well). House was quite clean but had a lot of dead stink bugs (and live ones) upon arrival. Furnishings are nice and rustic, beds are decently comfortable. The upstairs loft area didn’t have any a/c (portable unit was up there but not hooked up). Overall a great stay, biggest disappointment was the wifi as we needed it for school work, TV, and games we brought. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful, quiet, remote getaway.

The cabin was beautiful and just as described/seen in photos. The road up the mountain is a very windy, narrow course but doable even in a small car. We had internet access issues through Starlink but Lisa was quick to respond and try to help. It truly didn’t impact our trip significantly. The kitchen was well stocked for making meals. Overall a great trip.

This place was perfect for our needs! Check in was a breeze. The place was clean, had everything we needed such as towels, linens, well supplied kitchen and laundry room. There were fresh flowers on the kitchen table which was a lovely touch. The run area for my dog was wonderful!! I loved that he could wonder about and I did not have to worry about him. He seemed to love it also. It really helped make for a more relaxing vacation. The road going up to the house, as others have said, was very steep and a bit tricky but you can do it! It is worth the climb for such a fabulous view!! It really was stunning! We spent hours sitting out on the deck! The birds singing in the morning was also very delightful. You felt like you were up in the trees with them. We would definitely rent this place again!
