MAGNOLIA HOUSE You will enter Magnolia House up the front staircase onto the front enclosed balcony with alfresco dining and lounging options LIVING AREA The front door opens into the grand sitting room with generous and comfortable seating around the fireplace. This is a beautiful room for family and friends to gather and connect. There is a small tv to access quick catch up on world events KITCHEN AND DINING Leading off the sitting room is the large kitchen fully equipped for your holiday needs. The double oven and gas cooktop will handle large cook ups and the large dining table is easy access from the island bench for meals with family and friends. The kitchen dining area overlooks the expansive backyard and creek frontage BEDROOMS The master bedroom is entered from the front corner of the sitting area and houses 2 timber wardrobes and a beautiful timber 4 poster queen bed The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms run off the hallway. The 3rd bedroom has a creekside view. Both have queen beds. BATHROOM The upper level bathroom sits off the hallway within easy access of all 3 bedrooms. DOWNSTAIRS Head downstairs to a large separate living and dining space. This is ideal for special tv viewing with the large screen tv There is a separate designated office on this level in case you need to login to work or do some zoom calls in privacy This level also has a sitting room with view out to the stunning magnolia tree and creekside gardens We know sometimes it can't be avoided so if you have to throw on a load of laundry this level also offers the open laundry with washing machine and clothes line out the back door CREEKSIDE Off the back of the house is a generous open paved space that presides over the lush gardens. There is also a covered pergola with outdoor dining setting if you want protection from the weather Stroll closer to the creek past the Magnolia tree and you will come to the Rotunda where you can sit and take in the flowing creek and zen ambience of the surrounding nature and this beautiful town of Stanthorpe WARMTH In the colder months we know our guests will love the beautiful open fire place in the living area. We've heard that some properties don't include fire wood and we understand as its a difficult and expensive thing to keep track of. However, we do welcome you with a basket of wood, kindling and fire starters to get your first fire under way. If you require more its a quick trip to the Metro Service Station in town where you can purchase whatever extra you'd like for your stay. Each bedroom has an electric blanket and an oil heater. We recommend you close the door and turn on the heater about an hour before bed and you are sure to have a cosy sleep. Please reminder to turn them off when you get up in the morning. We've had positive feedback from guests that this combination is keeping them warm at night. SUPPLIES With a house of this size accommodating 6 people we know you'll head off and grab groceries and supplies that best suit your group for your stay. However, to get you started before you head to the store we supply the following: -Your linen and towels are included in your stay. - a full toilet roll in each bathroom - dishwashing liquid, some dishwashing tablets, fresh chux cloth, non scratch scourer and a couple of tea towels in the kitchen - in case a hit of caffeine is required on arrival there are some tea bags, instant coffee and a little milk carton - hand soap for kitchen and each bathroom - salt and pepper grinders This is a privately owned home and not a resort or hotel so you wont find shampoos, conditioners, body wash and other personal items. We know guests have their own personal preferences for those products. NO NEED TO STRESS ABOUT SUPPLIES THOUGH AS IGA IS OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK FROM 6AM TO 9PM AND IS MERE MINUTES FROM THE HOUSE
