Pros: It is a good location, as it's close to the subway on 137th St. I enjoy the proximity to the Upper West Side. I can wander through the Hudson Drive track or take the Subway downtown, and I can be in a different location within 5 minutes. Well-stocked amenities - coffee, milk, sugar, kitchen utensils, massive fridge, bathroom items Comfortable bed. Cons: Now, the unit itself is a whole shackle of a rundown building with putrid sme. Basement reality - Weekend parties, a random person doing hair styling for another person, a foul smell in the laundry area, and a broken machine to purchase laundry cards. Trash is piling up in the kitchen, so we just need to communicate with housemates on how to take the bin down. My room is so dusty, and the windows are full of dust. When I arrived, some items were in my room bin. The picture vs. the reality of the room—if you expect the property to look exactly like the picture, please manage your expectations.

There were significant electrical issues at the end of the stay and challenging communications related to these problems. We felt the host should have offered significant discounts for these issues. And offer to return rent only if we left premises is disingenuous when alternative housing solutions are not available on short notice.

Fantástica estancia, y fiel a la descripción, y todo muy claro y fácil de llegar, como detalle podría mejorar tema limpieza, porque el limpiador viene cada día semanas y yo soy alérgico al polvo y a los ácaros y tampoco es que limpiara en profundidad, pero Vanessa es de 10 y te soluciona todos los problemas rápido y es súper amable, lo recomiendo si es tu primera vez en NY y quieres estar tranquilamente.

Exactly as described. Easy self check in, comfortable room, access to kitchen. Stayed for a week and it was a great area of the city to explore.
