The host was kind and responsive, the view was beautiful, and the accommodations were good. Some things to know before booking: This is not a private location, if you are looking for seclusion please be aware that you have neighbors and it is easy to hear conversations in the other tent. Additionally the tent comes with very helpful items and is set up for you, be aware that on windy nights the tent will shake and the metal structure will squeak, both of which are very loud. Not at all the fault of the host just- just keep weather in mind. I would also recommend bringing extra blankets or a heater because the cold air comes up between the spaces between the floor boards and is quite chilly! Over all this place is beautiful and the location is great. I would recommend staying just be mindful of the above listed items. (also the blanket is like a zipper sleeping bag, which was cozy but we didn’t immediately realize was a blanket and not a bed cover. That one is on us!)

The place was very peaceful and relaxing! The view was really pretty. Just watch yourselves, because we did get alot of ticks on us. I would maybe recommend like a picnic table or something to eat on etc. I would definitely come back again. It was nice to have all the amenities there as well. The hanging fan was a great touch for when it was so hot. You definitely felt like you were in a different world here. Thank you Caitlyn!

Loved the weekend getaway… beautiful and relaxing… will be an annual trip … close enough to the Gorge… but seclusive enough away from everyone else … highly recommend

Caitlyn’s place is as she described and is very peaceful. She was very responsive. We had a weather related issue due to strong winds that was fixed right away. The only part that was a concern was the amount of rusty metal pieces in the grass between the tent and outhouse and the parking area. In fact, my daughter stepped on an old rusty building device used in deck making that was loaded with nails. Thankfully it did not go through her shoe. However, it did prompt us to do a little pick up. We picked up 5 of these items things full of nails, random building nails, pieces of chain, and other sharp objects. While the tent was clean and the bed was a dream, I would think having a clean yard would be equally important. It would have been nice to have a table of some sort to eat at even if it was just a picnic table since this is advertised as glamping.
