Not my cup of tea. Busy street didn’t get a good nights rest. Wouldn’t recommend for long stays like a week. Upcharge for everything like new sheets or trash pickup. Multiple notifications asking if I wanted to check out early but and up charge if I wanted to check out even an hour later. Got locked out on the patio multiple times when taking out the trash because the back gate was broken and the back door wouldn’t take my code (this happened to multiple people during my stay.)

The location of the unit is wonderful. However, more things went wrong than right with our stay. Upon check in, the code did not work for the door - luckily someone was physically in the building at the time, but I could have been shit out of luck. Then, the HVAC did not work at all. We were told there were space heaters in the closet - which there weren’t. Then, the Roku’s battery went out. Then, the coffee machine sputtered aggressively, and sprayed coffee everywhere. It was bad. Even when folks came in to fix 1 thing, they would forget about another - which required constant communication for what was supposed to be a relaxing stay. We did get 1 night refunded when the HVAC issue was brought up, but nothing else when everything else started to deteriorate. Even with that refund - this was not worth the price per night. Which is unfortunate, because the building itself is gorgeous and location is wonderful. But the unit required MUCH more TLC before welcoming a guest.
Beautiful place overlooking Commonwealth Ave park. Good rate for a brownstone in the middle of everything in Back Bay.
nice room, loved the fireplace and access to roku. spotless room. was hoping to store luggage due to later check in time, but all lockers were full. got locked in courtyard area, so would avoid until they figure out a better system for that. staff was kind and responsive after i let them know of situation. quiet and close to heart of city.
