Bring the whole family to this spacious Lake Cabin with room for fun inside and out! Enjoy trail systems, fire on the patio, fishing through each season, kayaks, and reserve our pedal pontoon boat. We have several options for you to choose from and are a few steps from a dock to enter the lake. Wedding, anniversary and other event venues are housed in the state park adjoining this property or host your event right here on our acre plus yard. This is an original fishing cabin that has been added on to and had some renovations over the years. Many of the rooms are floor to ceiling pine car siding and complete ceilings are also covered with the car siding as well. The original metal crank out windows and screens are still in place and while storm windows have been added, they allow cold in. Keep this in mind as you will want to dress in layers in the winter months and plan to utilize our cozy comforters and extra blankets, if you need them. The home is spacious and full of character. We live here part of the year, so you will see our family photos and your children and grandchildren will play with our grandchildren's toys. We will not be on the premises during your stay, unless you need us for something, or it is summer and we or someone we employ, need to water plants on the patio. As this is our home, we do have belongings here, and like any other vacation home, guests take care to utilize things as needed, and respectfully put them back when they are finished. Every bedroom has at least one dresser that is completely empty and ready for your storage and all but one also has ample closet space for your hang-up clothing.
