We recently stayed at Paul's place and were a little disappointed. Firstly, although it's mentioned it's in a resort, the pictures don't make it clear just how close you are to your neighbours - all the cottages at this resort face each other and are about 10m apart. This particular cottage is the only one right next to the water, so everyone in the resort is swimming and making noise right next to you. It was a beautiful setting, pity about all the loud families. Secondly, the cottage had a noticeable smell of raw sewage. We made Paul aware and the property manager inspected it but we were informed that's just how it's built. Unfortunately this meant it was unbearable to stay inside, and noisy and not private outside. Considering we had to bring our own bedding, the lack of privacy and the bad smell, this cottage was not good value for money. Paul however was very responsive but unfortunately was not able to resolve our issue.

Stayed at Paul’s place for 5 nights with 5 friends. The place was great. Paul’s place was directly on the water with a small private beach and two docks to lounge on, which is an added bonus. A gazebo and fire pit right near the water and small amenities like a fish cleaning station which was a nice added touch. The neighbours were friendly and you could easily feel like you had some privacy at the same time. The sink and shower could be a bit bigger, but I heard that the other cottages had bigger showers (plus it is a cottage). Paul was beyond accommodating with us. It rained one day but thankfully the bbqs are covered as well as the verandas and gazebo so we carried on as planned. There’s about 6 cottages on the same property but enough paddle boards, canoes, and other small boats for everyone to share. Really enjoyed this place.

The host was very communicated . Although,the shower of the washroom was not working properly but still he offered a complimentary extra night for our stay. Overall amazing stay and highly recommended for the people who need escape from the city life hustle. Thank you for having us Paul!!

The location of this cottage was superb and the host was amazing with prompt communication. The cottage was right by the water and very clean. Ample fire wood was also provided. The only comment for future guests is that the cottage is rather small and the ceiling where the bedrooms connect to the living area is completely open which allows for noise to travel throughout the cottage easily. Overall, we had a lovely stay.
