My wife and I had a wonderful Paris vacation thanks to Jean François. He was kind and always make us feel at home. Attic room is small but cozy. Public space shows all his collection with sophisticated taste. Perfect location in the center of Paris, Châtelet and Les Halles are only 2 mins walk. What else can you ask for? You need a little patience to communicate with the host. May not as convenient as staying in a hotel, but staying in a Parisian home is cooler than a hotel.

Just like I said to Mr.Jean, if I can score Paris for 100 points💯, I will score it for 150 points because of this apartment. It’s really a surprising place to have our trip in Paris. Mr.Jean have a great taste on his home, there are many antiques and everything is interesting and clean. The location is also perfect because châtelet is totally the center of Paris, you can go anywhere conveniently. At last, we love Mr. Jean because he respect his guest and be really friendly to us, he also give us privacy. And the cat—Sasha, is so cute that everyday we play with her. Just like her host, she is very kind, too. In a word, this apartment is my best choice ever in Airbnb. It deserves all the compliments! Many thanks to Jean and Sasha again!! No doubt that if we come Paris we will live here again!!!!

Great experience! My child and I loved our stay with Jean Francois. The attic apartment was comfortable and unique. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. The location was steps from a playground, many restaurants/bakeries, and a metro station to access the whole city Jean Francois was an engaging and attentive host. My child and I enjoyed getting to know him, and his cat was a fun highlight of the trip for my child.

Jean Françoise is a wonderful host and a very interesting person to speak with. His English is great and he helped me with my French. The apartment is very historic and full of interesting things. The views out the windows are wonderful. You are looking straight down on a fountain built in 1546. We loved the neighborhood. It is great to be just steps from the central Metro station. You can get on the RER or the Metro and get to where you're going faster than from most areas of Paris. Les Halles shops have anything that you might need. That came in handy more than once. And it's a lovely walk over to Notre Dame, less than 10 minutes. The neighborhood is very lively. It is cafes, restaurants, creperies, jazz clubs, for blocks and blocks around. It is quiet within the apartment but outside there is lots to do. Each evening we would come home thinking to go to bed, and then spend a couple more hours enjoying ourselves in the neighborhood!
