We spent 2 wonderful weeks in Filomena's place. Everything was perfect, very nice people, they made us feel at home. We were there with my 1 year old daughter and that's an ideal place to go for a family. Strongly recommend ! Thanks to the hosts and their daughter !

We would highly recommend staying here! Located in the south-central of Sao Miguel, the location of the residence is ideal for exploring the entire island. The space is well designed and finished, immaculate, with a private outdoor garden. Filomena, Daniel, and Joana are warmly welcoming and incredibly generous. They extended themselves beyond what one could expect to help our family navigate a medical event. Plus they generously shared an assortment of local delicious foods to try. Overall, we had an amazing experience. Thank you very much for hosting us!

Filomena hosted us for a week during our stay in Sao Miguel. We had such a positive experience. The house is absolutely beautiful, clean and private. it is 2 blocks from the ocean in a quiet neighborhood. The garden is well manicured with tropical flowers and fruit trees, and there is a view of the ocean from the grass area. Filomena's husband Daniel, and also her daughter and son helped coordinate and manage during our stay, and they were all very kind. The thing that made this trip so special was Filomena's cooking. We were greeted with a home made vegetable soup as well as local cheese, butter and biscuits. We were lucky enough to also receive a fully cooked meal one of the nights. The food she prepared were the best meals we had during our entire stay. Filomena and her family are amazing hosts. They made us feel welcome and comfortable. When I come back to Sao Miguel, I very much look forward to staying here again.

Welcoming host with lovely soup and bread. Immaculate home with lovely garden. I would recommend Filomena home to anyone. Our stay in the Azores was complimented by a stay here.
