This is perfect for a ski bum, small and quaint. Only issues were with space being dirty (as described in their other guest reviews) and smells as if particular pillows and blankets had not been cleaned. The biggest issue is the power went out at least 6-8 times, a neighbor mentioned this doesn't happen in their unit, so it seems specific to this unit as their heater and fireplace were not functional and WiFi also regularly disconnected.

Very close to ski area. Easy escape to main highway if major snow storm. Perched at the summit, so easy fast exit to lake or east out to valley below.

I stayed for a month during ski season. I love the quiet and peaceful location about a five-minute drive from Stagecoach and Boulder. Chelsea was a friendly, helpful and responsive host. The apartment is cute and log cabin-y. I was comfortable during my stay. Internet was fast and the heater worked great. The fireplace worked too, but I couldn't get the remote to work. The place has some old/ broken furniture that in my opinion needs to be replaced. It lacks in lighting -- Chelsea sent me some small lamps during my stay, but I still found it super dark. Overall I'd say this is a solid place to stay, it's just expensive. It basically has the feel of a budget listing but a month stay was pricey. That's Tahoe I guess!

While the location is pretty epic, apparently there is a 'bug problem' that happens seasonally. Even though neighbors were not able to verify this, Chelsea's home was the victim of a moth infestation about 2 weeks into my 5 week stay. Chelsea was VERY proactive and tried to help, but... Every morning at least a dozen moths were found scattered around the house. My cat enthusiastically pursued these moths 'all night long' it seemed. Plus, if there was any light near me, phone, computer, tablet, those moths were drawn to it. So I had moths fluttering about my head and shoulders while I laid in bed most nights. I asked for and was denied some form of reimbuersement because of the lack of sleep for the last 3 weeks. It got really bad in the apartment.

Great location, very close to Heavenly ski area and relatively easy to get to Kirkwood, Northstar and Palisades. Chelsea was very responsive and helpful. We spent 5 weeks at Chelsea’s apartment and felt very comfortable. Good internet connection.
