I can’t say enough wonderful things about Jessica and the great location of her apartment in the Historical /Art district of Funchal. Jessica’s place is only minutes away from the cable cars, busses, taxi’s restaurants and shopping. Finding her place was easy and we appreciated the fact that she made herself available to meet us at the apartment to personally hand over keys and answer any questions we might have. We would definitely stay at Atlantic Studios again in the future!

If you want to be in the middle of the tourist action, this is your spot. You are just steps above the famous Rua Santa Maria street with its lovely painted doors and tons of restaurants that cater to tourists. The apartment is extremely quiet despite its prime location. It is comfortable with everything to prepare meals or work (which I did for days!) if you rent a car to explore for a week or more like we did, ask the attendant at the garage across the street for a week pass. It was only 7 euros per day then instead of 15 euros per day!! What a difference! Many people have mentioned the Poncha place under the window as a good spot, we did not like it at all! The food and coffee were horribly overpriced and mediocre ( I couldn’t eat anything I ordered). there are many other wonderful places to eat and drink in Madeira. Overall this apartment is a cool central spot and the host was very friendly.

Absolutely perfect! Wonderful location overlooking historic Rua de Santa Maria with its innumerable excellent restaurants yet not at all noisy, very close to bus station and cable car and sea front and the apartment itself spotlessly clean and well appointed. Definitely will seek to stay there again. Thank you Jessica

Absolutely perfect in every way. No better location in old town right on Rua St Maria close to the market end but perfectly quiet even during the daytime. Apartment fully equipped with everything you need including laundry detergent, all cooking supplies etc. Very helpful host. Just fantastic. Would make this my preferred place to stay every time I’m in Funchal

Nuestra estancia ha sido fantástica, el apartamento está en una situación inmejorable en medio de la rua Santa Maria, cerca de los lugares más importantes de Funchal y con numerosos restaurantes excelentes y es muy tranquilo. Tiene todas las comodidades necesarias para pasar largas estancias. Jessica es impresionante con todos los detalles, que hace que te sientas como en casa. Además te da todo tipo de informaciones prácticas que facilita mucho la estancia. Lo recomendamos sin dudarlo.
