I would stay at Mitch’s place again! He was incredibly responsive and flexible, the home was cozy and beautiful, and the location on the lake and views could not have been more perfect!

Mitch was an exceptional host. His home is beautiful and gave us exactly what we needed - a quiet, peaceful stay to recharge our batteries. The view of Grand Lake is stunning.

We were on our way to another home that we had rented 6 months previously when we found out that they cancelled our stay. As we drove the nearly 3 hour trip north to Alpena, we scrambled to find another place for our family Christmas for 9 adults and 3 children. We found Mitch’s home and within an hour were notified it was available. Everything you could ask for was there. It was a beautiful location and we were able to have a wonderful Christmas. It’s not easy to get four adult children and their families together so Mitch’s willingness to rent last minute was so appreciated. The home was stocked with everything you could imagine and we all had a wonderful vacation. We all agreed we would stay there again and would love to try it out in the summer.
