Kaatru is a 6 acre coconut farm just behind the village of Thekkalur. Situated on a hill slope, the farm is a windy place that situated among the mountains and nature. Its position on the lower reaches of the hills makes it a wind tunnel. Irrespective of the time of the year, you will hear the wind, the swaying of coconut trees and the rustle of the leaves. Kaattru is a place where you can sleep under the stars and get together around the bonfire!

Only one thing is the swimming tank. Had a bad experience to get out of the tank but everything else was amazing!
This place was okay. If you are looking for a pet-friendly easy going staycation- this is the one for you. The property could use a little clean up and maintenance. It’s not super clean and tidy, but if that is not something that bothers you, you will like the property. Although the kitchen is functional, it’s not the tidiest of all. Same with bathrooms. But it is a fair ask for what you pay for.
Amazing place,beautiful surroundings and peaceful property. Interior decor was so good, kitchen was fully equipped, good sports and board games to keep u engaged. A surely must visit place with your family and friends.
Kaatru was an amazing getaway place. So close to the city, but definitely a reboot kinda place. Will definitely come back again to unwind. Great place to stay and relax with friends and family.
The stay was absolutely great. The caretakers and hosts are very responsive and accommodative of all your requests. The good that they prepare is simply too good. The setting of the place and the surroundings, are bound to give the people staying, an amazing experience.

Located in the heart of Thekkalur. Thekkalur is a village in the foothills of the Nilgiri mountains, just two kilometres from the Tamil Nadu-Kerala border. It lies just off the SH164, which leads to Silent Valley and the town of Mannarkad before it reaches the Palghat plains. The other villages near Thekkalur are Anaikatti, Vadakalur, Arnatkadu and Thuvaipathy.
The property is accessibly by car, and there is ample parking inside the property premises. You can take a drive through the picturesque Anaikatti mountains.
