This house gave us all the feeling of home since we entered the door, we felt very free and the atmosphere was very relaxed. The owners are very kind and welcoming. Free and easy communication. The house was located a little away from the city, which gave us a sense of peace. Everything you need was available a couple of minutes away. Grape plantations, mountains - which created a ranch feeling that we are not surrounded by the city.

Can't recommend enough - James was a really helpful and friendly host. House is beautiful in a safe small community. Our son (2 years old) loved going to feed the ducks in the small lake on the estate. Would really highly recommend.

James's home is Raithby was warm, welcoming, clean, and spacious. This four bedroom, four bathroom home set in a beautiful estate offers tranquillity while enjoying indoor, outdoor living. There is a lovely splash pool for those hot summer days and a cozy fireplace for those winter nights! The house is a short distance from an array of spectacular wine farms and the strand beach. There is a lovely restaurant right across the road if you fancy a little stroll. The estate is safe and secure. James went above and beyond for us and provided us with a camp cot and all we needed for our 14 month old to make our stay so comfortable. This house is an absolute must if you are wanting to explore the Stellenbosch region. Thank you, James and family, for your wonderful hospitality!

We had a very nice time in James' beautiful house. The safe location and beautifully maintained garden with (a new) swimming pool ensure that you do not want to leave. The place has a good balance between being in nature but also close enough to activities and a shopping mall. James is a great host, very easy to communicate with, he replies quickly. We'll be happy to come back!

This is how every stay should be….perfect in every way. Beautiful home, beautiful location. James had thought of everything and we can find no fault. Highly recommended.
