First I would like to address the noise complaints that were posted by a recent guest. This beautiful unit is in the basement of a house so yes you can sometimes hear footsteps, muffled voices and water running upstairs. From 10PM to 630AM we barely heard a peep. Unless you are hyper noise sensitive or like to sleep in late noise is, in my opinion, a complete non issue. Overall this space is FAR quieter than many a hotel room or condo as there is zero other noise. Enough said on that. This unit was the nicest, cleanest, best equipped Airbnb/VRBO we have ever rented. The furnishings and linens are first rate, the kitchen is equipped for just about any cooking adventure you might want to undertake and the amenities from TV to appliances are first rate. We had 3 guys on a ski trip so we used both BR's + the sofa bed. All the beds, including the sofa bed were very comfortable. Carmin was great communicating throughout the whole process. Great place!!!

As listed reasonable noise from above the basement from the main house was to be expected however we felt there was excessive noise which interfered with relaxing after a day of skiing . We could not go to sleep until they stopped moving around up stairs (11 pm Saturday), we woke up when they got up (7am) due to thumping on the roof, we heard cooking from their kitchen, conversation , running water from showers and Sunday night at 9.15 pm vacuuming! We understood it is not sound proof however at the premium price of $575/night we believe this was not acceptable and would have left after the 1st night if we had not paid in full. Unfortunately we went expecting a place to chill with the understanding of reasonable noise from the main house however we left feeling tired from listening to movement from above every night. The basement amenities were extremely clean, well presented and Carmin communicated promptly.
