Location - for people who want calm and stay inbetween agricultural lands must choose this property Avoid if you're allergic to insects and need luxury in stay Hospitality and food - awesome food. We had veg meals ( their homemade pickle was top notch) and for dinner we had eddiyapam, egg curry and chicken dry(some local style preperation which was awesome) Stay is worth for money Slightly i felt food is expensive for number of items served but still it's fine for taste

Firstly, no major issues with the place. It is as described (nature and remote). It requires some basic maintenance (broken shower head), better cleaning/ airing out of the room. The caretakers and Tys were very helpful and responsive. Unfortunately, my trip was cut short due to the hotspot not working. The owners of the house communicated that there is no Wi-Fi, but they offered a working hotspot which would allow me to be online and work. I confirmed this with them before booking, they assured me the hotspot works and local networks are working. I arrived early afternoon and tried to use the hotspot till the next day. It did not work. I contacted the host to look for solution. Tys tried his best to help. My thesis was due and told him I have to checkout. Said I’d go through Airbnb for a refund of days not stayed as I now had to go back to the city. Single female, alone, was pressured into losing money and taking just 3,000 rupees back (hosts covered food 850rs). Abnb resolved it 🙏

Vayaloram farmstay is a gem. everyone that works there has such a big heart and are so welcoming. The surroundings are so beautiful, it really is a place to rest and recharge. Sheeja (and Achu) is an amazing cook, we've enjoyed everything that came out of her kitchen. We also enjoyed all the animals they have there. Please be informed that you might encounter a 8 legged pet in your quarters sometimes but you are in a farm stay, it comes with being in nature. Privan is a great host and will arrange anything you need. We had a scooter for these days and went on a Jeep Safari on Silent Valley National Park. We loved every minute.

Alles in allem war habe ich ein paar wundervolle Tage dort verbracht. DIe Vermieter bemühen sich sehr einem alle Sorgen abzunehmen, zb wurden meine 2 Erkundungsfahrten ganz toll organisiert. Das Essen war sehr gut und ausreichend. Schade nur das die Location etwas abseits liegt und dadurch auch kein W-Lan Anschluss vorhanden war (keine Uber Bestellung möglich). Kann ich aber trotzdem jeden empfehlen, der die Ruhe will und gleichzeitig eine top Unterkunft sucht.

The property is at a very beautiful location and had everything that was mentioned. The caretaker was very proactiv. We had a wonderful stay at Vayaloram.
