Honestly couldn't have had a better experience staying at Giannis's place. I have never met more accommodating or welcoming airbnb hosts, the listing doesn't do Villa Irifay justice! Giannis and Eleftheria went above and beyond to make our stay perfect, with clear and responsive communication, a list of great nearby recommendations and flexible check in/checkout (Eleftheria gave us the warmest welcome when we arrived at 1am)! This airbnb is the perfect place to be based for a stay in Crete, above the hustle and bustle of Agios but close enough to pop into town for evening dinners and drinks on the Lake. Lidl is a few minutes walk away for morning pastries and there are gorgeous walks from the villa and up into Krista. The outdoor space is huge, we had friends over for dinner a couple of evenings and we weren't cramped at all. Couldn't recommend more, thank you Giannis and Eleftheria!

Giannis and Eleftheria were great hosts, very welcoming and super responsive! It was a quick and easy drive into Agios Nikolaos, and other nearby locations. You're next to a fairly busy road so it can be a bit noisy at times but that was worth it for us for the convenience, might not suit others looking for a more peaceful, quiet setting though. There is some sort of construction business opposite we were a bit worried would be loud but actually the noise from that was minimal. The view to the sea and mountains is stunning, and beautiful to overlook Agios Nikolaos lit up at night. The villa is so clean and comfortable, had everything we needed for the week. Overall we really enjoyed our stay!

Probably our best overall experience on Airbnb. Giannis and Eleftheria were the nicest hosts you could imagine and always there for us, be it for activities, restaurants or even a breakfast at their café. We can very much recommend staying there 😊

We really enjoyed our stay. Giannis was very welcoming and made certain we had a comfortable stay. The house was very clean and the location was great. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice place to stay while in town.
