Can't thank Daniel and Lotta enough for inviting us into their amazing home. This island is very special with beautiful breathtaking views from every window as well as different perspectives from each deck and beach . Everything about the property works extremely well. The bedrooms are stylish, with comfortable beds and stunning outlooks. The kitchen is well stocked with all you need for dining and cooking. The central deck is the ideal place to meet for family activities and meals. We have very fond memories of sunset drinks on this deck. The hosts generously provided toys and craft items for the children which my nieces used with much delight. The location is also perfect as close to ferry stops for pick ups , 10 mins by boat to Vaxholm for restaurants and daily shops and just the best spot for ship watching! Wish we were back there now- hope to return another year.

We are a family of five, with two parents and three adult children and, had a fantastic week at Tobacco Island - great location and views topped off with very good weather. Great swimming off the jetty and paddling by the flat rocks. Excellent birdwatching too as well as visits from a pine marten. The standard of accommodation and furnishings were excellent and it really felt like a family home we were dropping into with lots of books and toys around. The location is very handy for nipping in and out of Vaxholm for ferries back to Stockholm or out into the archipelago, shopping etc., but still felt very private and quiet. We would not hesitate to rebook.

We had a wonderful time in Sweden visiting Lottas and Daniels Private Island. The place is a very special place for people who desire to live in and with nature. It is a peaceful and quiet place beautifully located directly in the archipelago and next to the city of Vaxholm, not far from Stockholm. Is it fun to get your daily bread by boat after having a morning bath in the baltic sea? -Yes it really is. What if you like to fire a wood stove for a perfect sauna experience with your family in the evening? Just do it! What if you could explore the archipelago islands by boat directly from "your" island, whenever you like? What if you just like to have a calm rest from the world around you? And what if you could sit in the best private office I know so far, watching cruise liners and historic yachts passing by at some distance, while you are reading your book? These are only some of the things you can do here. Whenever you like, -if you like. You could also visit restaurant islands, museums and the city of Stockholm or Sandmann by boat. For us this has been a very special place. It was exactly what we looked for. Lotta and Daniel where fantastic hosts. They helped us in many ways, provided tips and ideas where to go and what to explore. It is not noteworthy to tell that everything was in best shape and in good condition. It was a real pleasure meeting you, Daniel and Lotta, and we wish you some more happy guests as we have been on your fantastic little island. Thank you for inviting us to this world! We felt very welcomed by Daniel and his family upon our arrival as well as during our stay. Everything was perfectly prepared for us and very nicely decorated. Tobaccoisland is perfectly located in the Stockholm archipelago - by boat only a few minutes away from Vaxholm and 40 min away from Stockholm. It is a very beautiful and unique place and we had a truly wonderful stay.

Wir haben 7 Tage auf dem wunderschönen Inselchen Tobaksgrundet in den Schären von Stockholm verbracht. Der Empfang von Daniel und Charlotte war herzlich und wir haben uns schnell eingelebt in den 4 kleinen Häuschen die auf der Insel zu Verfügung stehen. Die Kinder (9, 12, 14) und Jugendlichen (17, 18) haben jeweils ein Häuschen bewohnt, wir Eltern das Haus mit Küche. Alles ist sehr gut und zweckmässig eingerichtet, die Küche sehr hell und übersichtlich, schönes Design, Gewürze und Kaffee usw. alles zum Gebrauch überlassen (Danke!). Mit der limitierten Trinkwassermenge sind wir sieben Personen gut ausgekommen. Die Sauna haben täglich benutzt, da das Wetter nicht optimal war. Die Kinder haben gebadet, die Insel ist schön, mit Blumen und wilder, naturbelassener Vegetation. Mit dem kleinen Boot konnten wir auf Festland übersetzen, allerdings nur 4 Personen auf einmal. Dort schöne Naturschutzgebiete, zum Wandern und Joggen, Beerensammeln, Golf. Die Jugendlichen sind 2 x per Schiff von Vaxholm nach Stockholm und zurück, was problemlos geht. Insgesamt tolles Ferienerlebnis, empfehlenswert für Familie oder zwei Familien mit Kindern. Ruhe und Natur pur. Sehr schön eingerichtete kleine typische Schwedische Holzhäuser. Ein WC separat in kleinem Häuschen. Für grössere Gruppen wäre ein grösseres Boot zu empfehlen und im Voraus zu organisieren. Die Gegend ist ideal für Segler. Anlegesteg vorhanden. Boot im Voraus organisieren.
