If tranquility had a postcode, it would surely be this villa in Marrakesh. Hidden between the city's buzz and the Atlas Mountains, it's not just a place—it's a sanctuary. Managed by Asma, who conjures magic both in her kitchen and her fashion atelier, the house oozes a tasteful colonial charm, each room a testament to Moroccan craftsmanship that no photo could properly capture. The gardens are an Eden of dining spots—ten, to be exact, each offering a unique view of the sprawling estate and its menagerie of animals. There are two donkeys who are as charming as they are stubborn, dogs that meander along the paths, and a host of dragonflies, birds, and frogs that make every stroll a discovery. But it’s the cats, each with their own distinct personalities, who truly rule this roost. They’re as much a part of the villa as the antique furniture and the sumptuous fireplaces. This estate isn't just large; it's a realm of its own, offering not just space but a slice of peace. Book if you can.

This gem is hard to describe in a paragraph or two, its a true oasis, hard to find anywhere. The architecture of the place is just magnificent, leaves you in awe, details are in every inch of the property, from windows, arches to tiles, toilets, bedrooms, even the chinaware, glasses and cutlery, every single bit is curated with so much thought throughout. When you enter this place, you're in a time capsule of its own literally thats how I felt. Asma & her team were all phenomenal people.....hospitable, kind and so thoughtful. I felt we were taken care of by a professional hospitality team that really made our stay very comfortable and easy. The food was incredible prepared by Asma who's not only a tagine artist, more importantly she is a fabulous fashion designer, she has and atelier tucked in the folds of this gem where she designs and produces one of a kind pieces that blends west and east coutures with apparent mastery.

Where do we begin. We spent one week with Asma in her wonderful home. Everything was as perfect as perfect can be. Although we have two boys and have been married for many years, my husband and I felt as though we were on our honeymoon :-) The house is an oasis of beauty and tranquility. It is huge with many well decorated rooms to retreat to for alone time if you seek it. Our boys loved the gardens and pool area with its breezy gazebo. The gardens are indescribably beautiful, with many secret hiding places to enjoy a book, a stroll, a coffee, fresh juice, whatever your preference. Every meal was delicious and well prepared. Among all the perfection of the house, gardens and food, by far the most irreplaceable aspect is Asma herself. She is a wonderful, kind-hearted person who makes you feel welcomed and at home. Ask Asma to show you her atelier with her exquisite fashion designs; ask about her workshops. Our holiday with Asma was the best holiday we ever shared together as a family.

Gert’s hidden oasis was a true paradise. I cannot recommend this place enough, truly a unique and special place filled with tranquility, peace, relaxation and of course some friendly animals. Asma was on site and absolutely amazing, she provided us everything we needed and prepared unbelievable local meals. We really felt at home here and were pampered in a luxurious estate. Highly recommend! Do not miss out on this special getaway

If you are questioning wether to book; then just book, you won’t be disappointed! It’s in it own peaceful haven, the house is bigger than it looks and the gardens are immaculate. On arriving Asma (the lovely housekeeper) is warm, friendly & will look after you. Her cooking is also AMAZING. The bedrooms are such a good size as well as the bathrooms with marble baths. The gardens are filled with all the plants, olive trees & cacti as well as some wonderful pets. These include friendly dogs, cats, peacocks & ducks. Oh and donkeys. It’s literally a haven of tranquility. There’s so much room to unwind inside, and plenty of different sitting locations outside in the walled garden. I would recommend hiring a car if you like getting out & about. We hired a car & parked on the outskirts of Marrakech and walked in. The drive is easy & the airport is only 20 mins away. The Beldi Country Club is also only 15 mins down the road which is great for a pool day, spa treatments, lunch or dinner. 💯
