Met de familie (drie generaties) hebben we een heerlijke tijd gehad op Manoir Le Pont Chevalier! Het herenhuis en het park bieden ruimte en comfort voor grote groepen (wij waren met 14 personen). Voor wie moeite hebben met traplopen zijn er twee ruime slaapkamers op de begane grond aanwezig. Céline is een geweldige gastvrouw die goed Engels spreekt. Je voelt je meteen thuis. Er is genoeg te doen in de omgeving, maar eigenlijk hoef je niet eens weg: deze plek is fantastisch! De keuken is praktisch en voorzien van alle benodigdheden voor grote groepen. Een grote oven, een ruim fornuis, drie koelkasten(!), een magnetron, twee koffiezet apparaten en ga zo maar door… Voor een ieder die het respect op kan brengen te gast te zijn in een herenhuis vol historie en persoonlijke herinneringen is dit een echte aanrader!

The chateau is a charming country house ideal for those wanting to embrace country life. Our group of 4 couples from the USA were visiting to ride horses through the beautiful local forests. So, we arrived with lots of luggage & bulky equipment like boots & saddles. Each couple took a wing of the house & used the extra bedrooms as dressing rooms & storage. This worked well. The water pressure is wonderful, the hot water plentiful, & the radiator heating keeps this large house very warm. The internet works well. The kitchen is well equipped including 2 large refrigerators. We easily cooked for 9 adults & seated them at the dining room table with matching dinner plates, salad plates, wine glasses, water glasses, silverware, etc. Amazingly, all of these items fit into the dishwasher after the meal leaving clean dishes for the morning. The washer & dryer kept up with the laundry needs of 8 adults who spent many days (some very muddy ones) riding horses, biking, & hiking through the forests

Accueil chaleureux, hôte très disponible et à l'écoute. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour entre amis. la maison est grande et très propre. beaucoup de jeux et installations à disponibilité pour occuper les enfants. idéal pour un séjour entre amis avec de jeunes enfants.
