The Gables was in a perfect location, right by the shops and a minute from the beach. Despite being in the centre of town it was quiet at night. The reserved parking space is 5 mins walk from the property in a manned car park where the attendant is excellent at ensuring the public aren't parking in the reserved slots. There's also a car park right by the property for times when you are loading/unloading the car. We had 3 adult family members and a dog; one adult was in the bedroom upstairs in a double bed and two family members were in the twin room downstairs. All the beds were very comfortable although there was a lack of comfort with some of the other seating furniture. There was a good-sized bathroom upstairs with a nice shower which we all used, but there's also another shower downstairs and an ensuite toilet for the twin room. The upstairs floorboards are incredibly creaky (just something to be aware of). Overall we had a great stay and would book again if returning to Sidmouth

Great location, very clean. Be aware that the bedrooms are on different levels (quite far apart if with young children) and that the garden is small / not all that comfortable to spend time but could be improved.

Fabulous location really near shops, cafes and sea front! Property had everything for a great stay and was nicely decorated. I would just point out before booking to consider requirements in terms of layout if you have young children or mobility challenges, as the bedrooms are on different floors and the property is fairly spacious! Highly recommend this property and would be very happy to stay again!

Excellent location right off the high street and next to the short stay car park. Great quality accommodation with everything you could need and a high quality upstairs lounge. Plus a nice garden
