The one good thing about this place is the locality of the beachfront, it is genuinely a 5-10 minute stroll. I'm afraid this place wasn't for us. The one other thing to note about the location is that the house is on the busy main road between Paignton and Torquay and it is noisy. We booked this place for the hot tub, which in fairness was clean and in good working order. The only problem is that you are overlooked by the neighbours who have a first floor entrance to the rear of their house and therefore can look down on you, not the best. The property description doesn't tell you that both bathrooms are on the ground floor which is a pain. The steps in the property are steep and have no handrail, dangerous for children bearing in mind the bathroom locations during the night. There was a foisty smell when entering the property in the kitchen. One toilet seat could be swivelled off of the toilet pan. Stains on sofa. No light shade in the upstairs bedroom, just a pendant. Not good

Great location for strolling along the beach, with plenty of food options around. Slight negative is the parking, but to be expected given its location.

Good layout, well equipped and clean property. Good access to beach, bus into Torquay. Enjoyed our stay.

House was in a great location with shops only a walk away, hot tub was great. Host was very unresponsive through the holiday however so better communication would have been great. TVs we’re functional to an extent and Wi-Fi does not reach far around the house. However it was a lovely stay and great house and location
