Find your way to your unique and tranquil place, just minutes from the west side of Priest Lake. This is a quiet, off-lake cabin nestled 20' from the Kaniksu National Forest with easy access to Highway 57, restaurants, and trails. It's ideal for 1 - 5 folks looking to be near the lake but away from the daily hustle and bustle. Priest Lake Marina on Kalispell Bay, Hill's Resort and Millie's are some nearby landmarks between 5 - 12 minutes away from the cabin. Originally a 1930's Forest Service cabin, you'll now have access to hot water, plumbing, and solar-powered electricity. We are entirely off-grid, which means all of our power comes from the sun or a back-up generator yet the cabin still offers the comforts of home (with the exception of cell service or internet which many guests appreciate leaving at home). Two bedrooms, a living room and bathroom with full shower/tub, an outfitted kitchen, a fabulous front porch, and a fire ring (in season) are waiting for your visit. In the winter months, a wood stove awaits. We provide the firewood!

The cabin was perfect for our stay in Priest Lake, ID. So quite and peaceful. I enjoyed visiting the chickens in the morning and having a fire in the wood stove at night. The kitchen was fully stocked. Sarah thought of everything you might need during your stay throughout the whole house. It was so convenient to be able to ATV to the national forest right from the cabin. Had a nice dinner at Hills Resort, with a view of the lake. We would stay again in the future.
Sarah and Jim are amazing hosts, the cabin is amazing, the area is beautiful. Easy access to everything in Priest Lake and the forest and trail access from the cabin couldn't be better. If you even want to leave the cabin, it's quite the escape from the world. The chickens are super friendly too!
What a beautiful cabin and so thoughtfully stocked! Super clean and comfortable for two couples. We had a great time, and could snowmobile right from the cabin. The snow was a bit scarce, but we are hoping to book again next year, and crossing our fingers for more snow.

We're located about 3 miles west of Priest Lake, tucked into the Idaho Panhandle National Forests. Sorry, folks, we are not on the lake.
It's an easy 8-15 minute drive to the Priest Lake Library, Priest Lake Marina, Hill's Resort and Millie's. The local business district is 2 miles away and includes two gas stations a small grocery store, two restaurants and an espresso and sandwich stand.
Expect the sounds of nature, and plenty of room to rest or roam.
Your cabin is off an unpaved forest service road, with its own private lane and access. We live just across the road, but otherwise, your only neighbors will be the trees, mountains, and local wildlife. Oh! And our chickens.
