We had a great stay at Jill's Capitan Cabin! It was oh so easy to find; great directions! Easy check-in, met by Jill's hubby, Mike - both of them are very friendly! The cabin was clean as a pin; decorated in farmhouse style. Well-stocked kitchen & loads of towels. The view from the 2 porch rockers was lovely - deer in the yard in the morning, bluebirds galore & we heard a donkey braying in the morning! Oh so peaceful place for a weekend getaway. We had ordered a charcuterie platter from Jill - oh my goodness - what a variety of goodies & tons of leftovers to take home! Hubby is tall, so the bed was a tad short for him & we are used to a King sized bed, so cuddling was in order :-) Oso Grill in Capitan has a killer menu - try their dynamite green chile burgers & the Buttermilk Pie :-) Check out an old gold/silver mining town called White Oaks & stop in at The No Scum Allowed Saloon. What a cool place with laid back bartender & some great music. Would recommend Jill's cabin :-)

This is a great location with a very responsive host. Jill gave my wife and I several recommendations, all which were great. Che Palle is the place for really good local pizza in Capitan and you’re only 25 minutes from Ruidoso and its offerings. This cabin is a great find, especially if you want to be in nature and relax on the back porch while your dog can freely roam in the enclosed dog run or if you just want to take in the local wildlife.

Beautiful location with amazing views. The home had everything we needed. Jill was very attentive and friendly. We definitely recommend her charcuterie board as well! We will definitely return.

Jill’s little cabin is everything she explained! So peaceful. Beautiful cabin with a great view. Hill always responding with one-2 minutes after any question prior to arrival. This little cabin is about 25 min drive from Ruidoso. Very peaceful and exactly as explained. The cabin has pots, pans, normal everyday items and those were helpful. We ordered a charcuterie tray which was extra and totally worth it! My only complaint was I sat on the rug and was covered in dog hair. Just a minor thing that I could look over because everything else was great.
