It was a night. The place was quiet.. We did have a giant cockroach crawl on us while we were sleeping. However, we was able to smash it after it flew around the room a few minutes trying to hide from us. other than that incident, it was a nice quiet visit.

The location is nice, with a nice view over the water. Nice communal area with cornhole and a hammock. There is a pet area which was very convenient. This is all we were able to experience however, because of a “computer system glitch”. I booked the room 2 months in advance, but upon arrival our room was already taken by someone else. The only other availability was a much smaller and downgraded room than what we booked which was too small for my fiancé, myself, and our 2 dogs. We were told Airbnb would have to sort it out. After literally 14 hours with Airbnb Support, we were given a partial refund after having to stay the night in the wrong room which was still charged at the original listing price, because of how abysmal and slow Airbnb support was. Gulf View Waterfront Resort was very apologetic for the issue and were polite about the whole thing. It’s unfortunate for the mixup because the location was quite nice and serene.

The room was nothing like the pictures showed... no couch, no grill. The bathroom and kitchen area were much older style than what was shown. The sheets had stains on them, and the beds were as hard as a rock. They also advertised 1 queen size bed... we had a twin and maybe a full size bed in our room. Aside from that everything else was clean and accommodating. Absolutely beautiful view, and easy to find place. The outside was the best part of the place with kayaks and a nice pool. The dock/hammocks were a good place to watch the sunset.

A sweet little oasis! Dog friendly and yet very clean premises. Everyone we dealt with was incredibly friendly and helpful. We only stayed one night, but know that this is where we will stay again in the future!
