We had a very nice stay at the hotel in Wabesha. It was exactly as described....a good stay and at a good price. We will stay there, again!

Very helpful and friendly manager. The hotel is charming, but it needs maintenance such as cracked painting, torn wall paper, leaky faucets and worn carpets. It needs to have someone there. It felt like empty and sad. We met a couple who came several years ago and they said that it was live and beautiful. It has a huge potential. I wish they will spend some time and money for this potentially amazing place. Our room was nice, but with its poorly maintained condition and its empty feeling, my wife and I thought it was very overpriced place to stay.

I agree that The Anderson could use some work but it was as I expected. It is a very old hotel. Narrow staircases, halls, and uneven floors are to be expected! The room was comfortable and we were the only ones staying there most of the time so it was very quiet. They need an ice machine but other than that it was wonderful staying at this vintage hotel!

We enjoyed the old style furnishing and room. If you are the type of person who likes newly remodeled, etc, this isn't for you. If you like a bit of history, and steep staircases (lol), you will enjoy this place. Was very clean and perfect location, just a short block to the river.

Absolutely charming! Hostess was amazing and hospitable. Mattress might be original but I'll forgive it. Great walks down the street and by river. Lovely quilt shop around corner. We loved looking around this old hotel and the baked goods in the morning were fantastic!!! I bought so much and brought some home. Barb is a great baker.
