Big pro: it's super close to the blue line and easy to get around! Teeny con: it's super duper close to the blue line, like the train passes right above the backyard and you can sometimes feel it if you're laying in bed. I live in a noisy bustling city and even I needed a few nights to adjust to having a train run right outside the house. If you're a sensitive sleeper or not fond of noise you may not have a great time here. I, however, had a mostly lovely time here. The train in the backyard took a few nights to get used to but my body+brain learned to ignore it in the middle of the night so I was able to sleep like a baby. Jennie and Darius are very hospitable and welcoming. I had my own shelf in the fridge to store my food and the kitchen is stocked if you wanted to do any cooking. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was clean, and the shower was hot. Isaac is also very well-behaved and the best boi who deserves all the scritches and treats!!

A perfect place to stay for a couple of days in Chicago. Just a minute walk to the train and you’ll be downtown or at the airport really quick. Or you could stay in the cozy area and visit restaurants and bars. Jennie and Isac are super friendly and helps you with everything you need. Will definitely return for next visit!

Fantastic location with a great host and price. Note that this is very close to the subway tracks, so you will hear some noise. I didn’t find it too disturbing though!

The location was amazingly perfect for people coming from O'Hare and taking the Blue Line to Downtown, it is accessible and safe. Otherwise, the room is small (I wouldn't recommend more than 1 person) and very close to the rails which you can expect to hear noise approximatively over your head. Finally, we really loved Isaac!

This was a fantastic location to explore the city from. I was able to walk to many places, use transit, and even rent a car nearby for a day trip outside of the city. The train line nearby can be a bit disruptive and take some getting used to but I often have headphones on so it ended up being less of a distraction than expected.
