The heart of dairy country, this picturesque region is renowned for its stunning backdrops, scenic drives, and beautiful, nature-immersed experiences. Around 85km and a beautifully scenic drive north from Brisbane, Maleny sits within the Blackall Range, interspersed with rainforests and natural waterfalls. And of course, its artisan foods, local and organic produce, and wineries — which match this beautiful landscape perfectly.

Maleny believe it or not is still a country town, as such transport in the way of taxis is not easy to come by. There are 2 taxis that operate on self appointed hours and usually need to be booked in advance.
There is NO Uber so please plan your stay and transport accordingly. We have listed some transport services in our Guest Welcome Book that you may be able to get in touch with.
Parking in town - the main street of Maleny is exceptionally busy from Thurs-Sun 8am-3pm. It has 2HR rear in angled parking only and is policed well on weekends. A little local tip, there is usually ample parking in the IGA parking lot as well as the field overflow lot behind the main street as well as the side streets. This may even save you some time waiting for a spot on the main street.
