The cabin's setting was lovely, by a pond inhabited by Canada geese and surrounded by many gorgeous azaleas. It was clean and comfortable. The property needs a little maintenance; however, overall, it provided us with a very comfortable place to stay during our time in the area.

Tremendous Potential - A cute and charming log cabin which has been thoughtfully styled. Charming interior with great views of the pond and surrounding garden area. This property could be so much more with a little bit of love. Beyond the veneer, we found it dirty and lacking in basics. Vermin droppings and dirty areas (such as mildew in bathrooms, dirty oven and microwave, trashy laundry areas, dirty laundry space, dirty laundry machines). We flagged some of this for the owner and they were super-responsive. Minor lacks of love included lack of basic kitchen equipment and basic bathroom linens, light bulbs not working). What's sad is that someone gave this property thought but the care is not delivered and this did impact our response. While we want to be flexible re lacking equipment, neither of us appreciated the dirt.. Correct these minor issues & we would come back. Lovely setting. Make the changes for a 5* experience.
