A beautiful apartment with the most stunning view, we chose to eat in each night to enjoy it. Beautifully furnished and kitchen well stocked. Slow sloping roof caught us out occasionally ! Trip to laundrette was an effort after an active day ( no washing machine) but gentleman there was very helpful. We didn’t meet Rachel but communication with her was great. Online guide which we received a few days beforehand is amazing with a wealth of information. Private shuttle bus on arrival and departure was much appreciated.

Great location and apartment with an incredible view. Free shuttles provided at checkin and checkout and even throughout the stay as you make your way around the town. Short uphill walk to the train station and town center, but coming back from hiking one day it started to rain heavily and we appreciated the shuttle back to the apartment. Just down the road from the Baren restaurant a nice surprise with local and creative cooking

When your daily life consists of traversing through the concrete jungle that is London, arriving in Wengen and the rose residence is akin to being reborn. What strikes you immediately is the incredible vista viewed from the balcony which makes an indelible mark on your memory. There is nothing like it on Earth which I would expect to experience again. The church just behind the chalet has a multitude of tourists vying for the benches that offer the same view, but you feel very fortunate to have this in your own home. The chalet itself is very well cleaned and the hosts I cannot fault. Proactive, communicative and everything you’d expect especially when you have young children to consider. If you are tall, remember to stoop in places especially in the shower and the bedrooms could have benefited with softer pillows. I don’t however want to deviate from the verisimilitude of my attempt to describe the location which is why you would stay here. Breathtaking.

This was one of the best host's we've ever dealt with. The rental office where we picked up our keys was steps from the train station. They had an amazing shuttle service to help deliver us and our luggage to our rental, which was very much appreciated due to the hills involved and the wear it would have placed on our luggage wheels. You can use the shuttle any time through the concierge but we just used it for arrival and departure. The host was responsive at hours that were well beyond normal business hours, which I did not expect. We will definitely book through them if we return to the area.
