It was an ideal location for us, not far from centre of Altona. The house had all we needed. This is a 5 star Airbnb. This was our second stay and we hope to return.

The unit is very cosy and comfortable, especially for 2 people. One room is locked, so I'm not sure whether there is an extra bedroom if booked for more people. The location is great, right across from the beach. Although the unit does not face the beach directly, it is just across the road, so very convenient if you like the beach. The unit is also only about 9 mins walk to Coles and restaurants. Parks and playgrounds are also within close walking distance. The kitchen is clean and well equipped, with everything that you would need for cooking. I love the fact that they provide cling wrap and foil. Detergents and washing powder are also provided. The gas heater heats up very fast. However, there is no heater in the bedroom itself, so I'm not sure whether it might be a little cold in the bedroom during winter. Noel and Erin respond quickly to queries and feedback, and even came on a Sunday to help rectify something. They were also kind enough to allow me a late check out. One point to note - do not use the washing machine while showering, as it affects the stability of the hot water. I will definitely stay here again if in Altona.
