This was the perfect cottage for our family. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit, peeling hand-picked apples together for apple crumble. A highlight for me was soaking in the outdoor bath… so peaceful! And the views each morning at sunrise were spectacular. The house was well-stocked with provisions, thank you. We really enjoyed our relaxing stay.

We had the most wonderful stay at birdsong. The view is unparalleled and the photos don’t do the home and surrounds justice! The house was well equipped with everything we needed; beautiful quality linen sheets, cosy towels aplenty, a waffle maker, stovetop coffee machines and teas. Plenty of games and puzzles! A short drive to fluted cape walk and cape queen Elizabeth walk which were beautiful! Nickers and clay pottery was close by for an impromptu pottery class. The house was so cosy in the evenings and so atmospheric with the lamp light. The outdoor bath was so peaceful and relaxing and the laundry made it easy to wash our sheets and things after having camped in our van for a while. The famous bruny sourdough fridge was closeby and delish; living up to its name! We recommend birdsong highly!

This is such a lovely, friendly house in a beautiful setting. The view of Adventure Bay was wonderful to watch in all lights and there were so many birds in the trees and visiting the bird bath. We saw pink robins, dusky robins, scarlet and flame robins, and many gorgeous fairy wrens. The house is so well-equipped for families and there is a great selection of books for all ages and plenty of toys. We look forward to visiting again!

I can’t say enough good things about Birdsong. Our host was really proactive providing great instructions and checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. It’s in such beautiful surroundings in a beautiful part of the world. The cottage is perfectly equipped with lots of great little extra items in the kitchen that make it easy to cook and great coffee. The house has great beds, cool furniture and decorations, and heaps of books and games. It’s clear a lot of thought and care have gone in to this place. The outdoor areas and the whole property is just beautiful. We even saw an albino Wallaby on our first morning. It’s dog friendly with secure fencing so I can’t wait to come back with the whole family.
