The villa was clean and peaceful, but slightly dated. Great outdoor space with direct access to the beach. Quiet surroundings and comfortable beds. Convenient location to restaurants, etc. Some of the bathrooms were a little wonky (shower doors that wouldn't close fully,etc) and some of the appliances had foreign plugs and required adapters to use, like the coffee machine, which was annoying. My two biggest issues were the following: 1. The villa's policy of only five visiting guests at a time was fine (we have a lot of family in Dubai and people wanted to come by and say hi and have a coffee). What WASN'T specified was that each visiting guest would have to provide a copy of their ID hours ahead of time even if they were only staying for one hour. This should have been made clearer as it was extremely inconvenient to ask for this every single time someone wanted to come by for a coffee and a chat. 2. The response time lagged - we had to ask 3 times before cleaning took place.

I came to the villa from a long flight, and it was really cold inside, there was no hot water to shower, and the place was not as clean as expected. At night we would hear noise, and it was always cold.
