It was very clean and well taken care of. Very home like feel.
This is a very nicely modernized historic home in Anchorage. The kitchen and bathrooms have been remodeled with new fixtures and the numerous bedrooms have new paint and refinished original wood floors. It's a pleasant, moderate walk from downtown and immediately across an intersection from a small but high-quality grocery store / deli. It was one of the few AirBnB offerings with so many separate beds and bedrooms which were very helpful for my larger group.
Thanks to Shawn he rescued us from last minute cruise that was cancelled. He was able to get us into his place the same day and we appreciated his timeliness. Cute house. Walk to the grocery store. Close to downtown Anchorage. Easy in and out from the airport. Close to parks, walking trails. Comfy beds.
Great space for our 3 generational group of 7. For its age (1945), house is in excellent shape. Bright semi-open first floor plan gives feeling of bigger house. Bathroom modernizations make best use of limited space--showers are wonderful. Stairs are steep reflecting 1945 building standards. Kitchen well stocked with basics--modern appliances. Grocery store on diagonal streetcorner is super benefit. Sean was immediately responsive to minor loose bedroom door hinge problem upon 8pm first night arrival. We will book again for July 2024. What's more to say!
