We stayed for the 2024 solar eclipse. The house is water front and we enjoyed canoeing and used the paddle boards we brought. The location is very quiet and close to grocery stores. There is also an amazing museum 35 min. away in Idabel. The Museum of the Red River is free and a must visit. We also visited the Fort Towson historical site and hiked the Old Doaksville Townsite History Trail. We were just planning to be sedentary for the eclipse weekend but we were active at the lake house and able to share an amazing celestial event with close friends and family. It’s a big house with all amenities as described. For kids, the best part is the toys, books and video games available in the house. The furniture’s are very comfortable. There are lot of kitchen utensils and appliances worked like new. The propane gas grill and charcoal grill was great and had all required items. All bedrooms have lake views. The best part is the Kayak and all 4 families stayed had a blast kayaking in the lake. Outdoor deck is great to relax with all furnitures. If anyone looking for a quiet place with good views, looking to kayak and fish with all amenities, then this is the place.

Lizabeth's Sandy's Point Airbnb is a true paradise, surrounded by breathtaking lake views. Every window in the house frames a picturesque water scene, offering a serene escape. Lizabeth, the host, is outstandingly responsive and always available when needed, making our stay seamless and pleasant. The holiday decorations were a delightful surprise, adding a festive and warm ambiance to our first Christmas celebration with our newly adopted children. Adding to the warmth, Lizabeth left thoughtful snacks and treats, along with a heartfelt card that touchingly referenced our recent adoption. This kind gesture made us feel incredibly welcomed and cherished. Lizabeth's thoughtful touches made it feel like a home away from home, filled with love and holiday spirit. This place is highly recommended for anyone seeking a peaceful and heartwarming getaway!
