Blue Lagoon Escape Unit-B The beauties of Midcoast Maine are in every direction from this colorful, light-filled home in Boothbay. The Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, bustling Boothbay Harbor, the Maine State Aquarium, rivers, bays, the open ocean - it's all at your fingertips here. This home occupies one half of a side-by-side duplex, offering a single-level layout that's open and sunny. The main living area is in the center of the home, bringing together the kitchen, two dining spaces, and a sitting area with leather sofas and a flatscreen TV. A glass door leads outside to a deck, a gas grill, and a grassy lawn to enjoy on sparkling summer days. After a day spent kayaking or walking one of the many nearby trails or land preserves, you'll have three bedrooms to choose from, each in its own corner of the house. Free WiFi is provided as well to assist you in planning your daily excursions and meals out on the town. Things to Know Full kitchen No washer/dryer ** Blue Lagoon Escape Unit-B may be rented along with Blue Lagoon Escape Unit-A as Blue Lagoon Escape A&B to accommodate up to 10 guests. No dog(s) are welcome in this home. No other animals are allowed without specific Vacasa approval. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. Air conditioning is only available in certain parts of the home. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a damage waiver fee which covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. More information can be found from the "Additional rules" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

The place was perfect for my family to stay for a few days! We were right down the street from the Botanical Gardens and only a short drive from Boothbay Harbor. Fantastic all around.

This place was great. I only have three complaints. 1) The TV in one of the bedrooms that did not work. It is a old and outdated Smart TV that can no longer connect to the Internet which means none of the apps such as Netflix, Hulu, etc can work. Since this place has no cable TV this one TV in the bedroom with the porch/balcony attached is just there for decoration. 2) The TV in the living room, it does not have the Netflix app download and since there is a security pin number needed to add the app, the living room TV could not play Netflix but could play Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc. 3) There is a giant dining room table that didn't really fit the space so if you want to use it you have to move the couch. All of these are small complaints and would not stop me from renting this place again. We enjoyed our stay, it was very nice, clean and quiet with plenty of space besides the cramped dining table.

The place was as described and easy to access with clear directions. Great communication from host. Previous review from July 2023 stated a broken handle on the kitchen faucet which was still broken but not an issue for us. Couldn't figure out how to access TV and wifi was very spotty but don't watch much tv so that also was fine. Ran out of hot water after one shower and had to wait for it to heat again. The location was convenient for our plans and accommodations were comfortable and clean and supplied everything we needed. Window shades could be darker for sleeping (and some are missing some of the slats) but I am light sensitive so most people would probably not mind. The Botanical Gardens are very close so that was great and Ocean Point in Boothbay Harbor was 10ish miles away and we really loved that. For the price we would try to find something closer to the water or other beach attraction for future trips but overall satisfied with our stay for this trip we had planned.

It was clean and well appointed. A suggestion for the not so tech savvy is instructions to get all the tv to work would be nice.
