The space was inside of the Statler Hotel, but on the residential side, which is harder to access. The elevators were down on one side which made it harder for people to do separate things. The space was nice, but there were maintenance issues (AC went down, shower not sealed so leaked, facets not secured, etc.). The team was very responsive but still didn’t fix the issues that were experienced. Checkin was only at one time and required you to wait for them to arrive to provide you access. All in all, it was a nice space but wouldn’t consider it a luxury space.

Pros: 1. The staff is very friendly and accommodating 2. The space itself was a nice size compared to other Airbnb’s I’ve stayed. Having two bedrooms plus a pull out couch was great. Cons (in no particular order): 1. There’s only one elevator that would take us to our room, and it broke during our trip 2. Navigating the building to enjoy the amenities is a challenge. The building is a maze. 3. We (along with everyone else on our floor) were blessed to wake up to a malfunctioning fire alarm that went off starting at 6AM and continued for 4-5 hours. In fairness to Sonder, they refunded me $50 without me asking. 4. We also enjoyed a flashing light coming from one of the alarms (maybe?) in our bedrooms off and on all night while we were to trying to sleep. 5. Our room was not very clean when we arrived 6. Our room didn’t exactly match the pictures 7. The dryer in our room takes 2-3 cycles before clothes/towels get somewhat dry. I’d consider staying here again only if other options are

A/C did not work on our unit. A pipe burst in the building. The fire alarm went off all night. Elevator and door codes are difficult and cumbersome. Never received check in instructions. Can’t make this stuff up. Would not recommend.

Perfect place to stay for the price, location, space, and access. I would definitely stay here again.
