Super beautiful experience sleeping on the ocean, making food in the little galley, and rowing out to a peaceful anchorage near the harbour - Aaron is a real one

I booked the sailing yacht for my family trip to Tofino with 2 kids. When I contacted Aaron in Nanaimo, he gave us another address in Ucluelet, which was 30 to 40 minutes away from all other activities we have planned in Tofino. The smell of toilet and yacht engine oil were so strong and I could not sleep. The entrance does not cover completely and it was still very cold at night. We booked for 2 nights but couldn’t stand another night after first night. I found another Hotel for second night. Aaron gave us a rowing boat to access to his yacht. Rowing for 5-10minutes to be on and off wasn’t easy. When wind got strong, rowing to get to the yacht was impossible, we got rescued by another sailing person with motor boat after trying to get to yacht for almost 30minutes. Aaron helped us to move our luggages in and was a nice person but the place wasn’t meant for family vacation.

exactly what we wanted, Aaron was a great host, responsive and went overboard to make our stay pleasant ant comftorible. even supplied us with an unexpected crab pot which he set up and taught us how to use (pulled a 1 day fishing liscence from the internet in about 5 minutes) caught 8 crab but unfortunately were too small to keep and cook, all went back into the ocean with life and limb. beautiful location and a great adventure to boot

Spacious sleeping and cute little town. The boat was parked in Uclulet, which we found out on the way to the booking. Cooking on the boat was easy. Remember to bring dish soap. We did se a seal in the harbour in the early morning
