We enjoyed our stay in the cabin. The area was private, peaceful, and had a nice view. The cabin was clean and had many nice amenities. It was a short drive to Boone and West Jefferson. Daniel provided clear instructions and communication. We hope to stay again in the future.

What an absolute gem! My family says I'm like the "Princess and the Pea" because I'm just a tad particular when it comes to my sleeping circumstances. A comfy bed and the ability to make my room nice and DARK are top priorities for me and this place had both. Our 12 & 14 year old boys also absolutely loved it. We saw soooo many deer and we enjoyed going down the river (it is indeed a challenging climb back up). Our youngest made sure to grab one of their cards on the way out and said "put this in your pocket so you can remember this place for next time!"

Daniel and Dorrie were amazing hosts. The house was beautiful and clean, just like in the photos. The location of the home was very private, but easy to find. During our short stay, we hiked the Elk Knob Summit Trail and ate at a local restaurant. The house had plenty to offer. Our kids enjoyed the pool table and hot tub the most. Would definitely consider coming back.

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin this past weekend. It was a cozy, comfortable cabin with hot tub, pool table, and other amenities. We made wonderful memories with our family ❤️ We will hopefully go back again. Thank you Dan and Dorrie for hosting your house.

Really cool cabin with plenty of amenities, Daniel was really responsive and helpful, we were even able to find it in the dark. The walkway to the cabin is very steep and gravel , someone older or with bad knees and or balance would probably need assistance. I really loved the layout, and coffee stuff already there. Overall a great experience. Would definitely stay again.
