It is a magical place where modern architecture and sacred elements come together in an incredible way. Booking the entire property is also possible, so let me know what you would like! This former Protestant church from the 1960s, designed by legendary star architect Olaf Andreas Gulbransson, is a real treasure. The charm of this church is simply indescribable and you immediately feel that it is a special place. But the absolute highlight is the converted church room under the round pitched roof. Here you can dine on the old church pews while the sun shines through the star-shaped window from above. The sober altar and the intact organ are still in place and give the room a unique atmosphere. The modern furnishings divide the room into cozy living, sleeping and dining areas. Two beautiful stained glass windows by the famous painter Hubert Distler adorn the room. They form an abstract surface and color inspiration behind the altar. The play of colors in the evening light is particularly impressive. I promise everyone who enters this church will exclaim "WOW"! It's a place that will touch you deeply. By the way, I have to mention it - this church was deconsecrated in 2016 and has been for sale almost unused ever since. It was even going to be demolished to make way for a block of flats. But I gave it a new purpose and made sure that this wonderful place stays with us! The furnishings have been put together especially for you with great attention to detail and high-quality natural materials such as wood and metal to create a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. These apartments are truly something special and offer luxurious and unique accommodation that you won't find anywhere else. I can't wait to see you here! There will be 5 large double beds (king size), 2 French double beds and 2 large sofa beds distributed over 6 bedrooms and 2 living rooms (as shown on the floor plan). You will be able to sleep peacefully in the finest hotel bed linen. The new kitchens (in the church with cooking island and adjoining bar counter) are already waiting to be cooked with the extensive kitchen equipment. Two dishwashers are of course available. So you can save yourself the hassle of washing up. Basics such as salt, pepper, oil, sugar, organic coffee capsules, tea, dishcloths and sponges, washing-up liquid, dishwasher tabs and 2 tea towels per kitchen are of course available. In the large hall, the living and dining room, nothing stands in the way of cozy evenings in front of the Smart TV with Teufel sound system or extensive game evenings at the 2 large dining tables with space for approx. 18 people. A double-sided whiteboard with markers and magnets is also available for workshops, seminars and workations. Pleasant warmth is provided by high-yield radiators under the benches on the rotunda. In each apartment there is a wood-burning stove that can be fired up for pleasant warmth in winter. There is enough wood. The new barrier-free bathroom was equipped with the highest quality materials. A toilet, a chic washbasin with a large round mirror and a floor-to-ceiling, luxurious rain shower are just waiting for you. A second large bathroom with bath, shower and double sink is available for you in the pastor's apartment. 2 outdoor terraces to soak up the sun are also available and can also be extensively enjoyed in summer with the appropriate terrace furniture. A large gas grill can also be used to spend a cozy barbecue evening with your family or friends.
