Puttachard and her husband have a beautiful home and some really well thought out guest accommodations. On a new road so not correct on the online maps - but a phone call to the driver got me there just fine. Sadly, there is construction happening and the worker's compound is right below the guest accommodation, marring the peaceful view of the lake below. Breakfast was stellar - the coffee from the host's roasted beans. I opted to join the family for dinner, a true thai feast, homemade, and lively conversation. Definitely join for dinner!

What a state-of-the-art experience! The main house on the hill is so gracefully designed, with so much light and glass - it’s hardly possible to stop enjoying the beauty of nature around. And it’s also the beauty of interior design, and internal beauty of amazing hosts, Todd and Tai, that make your stay extraordinary good. They take such a good care of you and they are always there if you need anything. The room itself is in the private house, and that gives you privacy and stunning views on the lake (and unforgettable morning fogs). Huge private terrace and glass doors let you enjoy the place to the fullest. And it’s also very comfy and stylish - artsy vibes are everywhere and it feels incredible! North of Thailand will always stay in my heart thanks to Todd and Tai!

I enjoyed my stay here. It is peaceful and gently beautiful. I recommend borrowing their bike to cycle around the local area. When I was there they had sunbirds in the tree next to their house which was lovely to see. If you like bird watching bring binoculars as there are plenty around (or maybe ask to borrow some). The local coffee shop is good too. The hosts are very interesting people and it was a pleasure chatting with them. My only criticism is that the house is in an entirely different place from the one on the map. It is fine on g**gle maps so just check there before booking.

Tai and Todd’s place is definitely worth a visit. Firstly a beautiful place, clean, modern stylish and extremely comfortable but more importantly such excellent hosts! Tai and Todd welcomed me with open arms, offering a fabulous breakfast (and even lunch and dinner!). They are wonderfully kind, genuine and chatty making you feel so at home and doing anything they can to make sure you have the best, most enjoyable trip possible. 5 stars! Thanks for a great few days!

Tai and Todd are incredibly gracious hosts and have a wonderful place, constructed just three years ago, set on their own private hilltop. Our room had a very large private balcony with comfy couches where we sat and enjoyed the sounds of nature in the evenings. Breakfast is included each morning. There's a kitchen available if you like to cook and a village with cool cafes only a three-minute drive away. This is a very relaxing and quiet place to stay, away from the busy city. We would absolutely stay again.
