Ikar Hut is a friendly place with beautiful garden. Located near the beach, supermarket and a bus station. You will have all the privacy and and an enjoyable experience.

Ilina's place is a special one. My hippieheart beated faster seeing all the colorful furniture, detailled decoration and millions of plants. Administrations are handled pretty relaxed but responsively. You have the impression that the human connection is more important which is nice. As I was traveling alone and time wasn't busy yet, I was offered a private room for a bit but fair more. With a huge terrace. <3 Loved that! The surrounding is amazing. You literaly walk two minutes to the beach (and the bus stop and the minimarket). I was mostly working there - lots of nice places to put yourself with your laptop. But you shouldn't need a stable and strong WiFi! ;) I hope, Ilina, we will have another time the opportunity to drink a tea together! Might be a in deep and inspiring exchange. :) Hugs and Love from Greece.

I stayed at Ikar Hut for my birthday for five days this year. I had the most amazing time, Antoine was a most friendly and helpful host, local knowledge, and even arranging a birthday cake up on the mountain! I would love to return to stay at Ikar hut with friends soon, if your reading this review I suggest you book straight away! ;-)

Beautiful location, mountains and lakes, and sympathetic building with colour and character, a small green garden with shade and two hammocks, solid wood parquet floors throughout the building. Clean, well-equipped and easy to find (turn *left* up the hill, unmissable) Ikar Hut, No. 26, with regular minibuses into Ohrid centre. We swam in the lake (50m) every day and cooked our own food purchased from the two nearby mini-markets or ate at the small handful of restaurants in easy walking distance. Make yourself at home.
