We have now stayed at both Fallow and Roe cottages. Both are very well equipped and conveniently located to walk to local shops and restaurants. Local pubs serving good food and nice British beers (we live in France) so lovely to be back in the Suffolk countryside . Thank you for a great stay Nikki

This was a great little cottage in a lovely area. Lots to do around and about and not far from the coast and some beautiful places to walk. Cottage was very clean and tidy, well equipped and with a lovely welcome pack. We went with two dogs and four adults and as a base, there was plenty of room. Fantastic wood burner for cosy nights too. The cottage does say there is WiFi but be prepared to hotspot off own devices as this did not work very well. We are a family that tends to switch off when away so it wasn’t a problem for us but might be for others. If you are people who like to play board games when away, remember to pack your own as unlike other places we’ve stayed, the cottage has no books, puzzle, games or DVD player. There is Netflix if you want it but as the internet wasn’t great when we were there, we couldn’t get it to work. But if like us, you like a good base in a great area for exploring, you can’t go wrong with this cottage. A lovely find, would recommend.

The outside was a bit like a building site. plant pots and debris all over..Dangerous surface to navigate because of the outside wasn't squared off enough. The TV was woeful very small and the amount of acessable channels was dire.The welcome pack didn't contain what was advertised. With a bit more attention to detail this property has great potential. The welcome pack contained menus from local restaurants that were from 2019 during covid times. Not good when we attended restaurants.

This was a lovely place to stay for a family wedding nearby. Very warm and comfortable. Plenty of space for parking and easy access into Hadleigh. We found the floors and stairs a little slippy (no carpets), but would certainly be happy to stay again. Thank you Simon & Ros

This property was ideally located for a family wedding at Hintlesham Hall. The property was much larger than pictures showed and was very clean. It was really thoughtful to have bread, eggs and milk upon arrival, advised jam/ local honey in kitchen but could not find. Could hear every noise between three cottages - they really were paper thin walls - could hear all conversations from guests next door. Velum windows upstairs in bedrooms and not sound proof - heard every car drive past property and at rear of property howling dogs . The cottages backed onto old pub which is no longer open but still has residents . The dog in the garden howled all evening when disturbed by passers by and this caused inconvenience for getting my kids to sleep. I did message Simon to advise of noise nuisance and took videos of sound however despite 1 hour response time I didn’t hear back for nearly 20 hours. Great location and property just very noisy and disturbed everyone’s sleep :-(
