We loved staying here! If you like being in nature and secluded this place is for you. If you need to get anywhere like a restaurant or store it’s about 30 minutes so stop on your way. But if you don’t mind spending most of your time at the cabin then it’s perfect! We will definitely book again in the future! Our kids loved it!

This place is a must go to if you enjoy a beautiful location and peaceful surroundings. We arrived during snow and Bernadette was out clearing the drive for us! More than willing to accommodate anything we needed! They showed us around some of the Ranch animals which was such a cool experience for our kids (and us)The pics do not do justice to this cozy cabin. We had it maxed out and still had plenty of room, plenty of towels and toiletries too! Chad and Bernadette are amazing hosts and this place will become a part of our vacation planning! Such a great memory for our entire family!

We so enjoyed our out of the way stay! The sunrises with the mountains were gorgeous and their home was spotless, warm and comfortable for all 7 of us. It was a drive to get anywhere which we expected so we just planned our days accordingly. Taos one hour, 45 minutes away. Santa Fe, one hour and half and then great skiing at Sipapu, an hour away. Finished our time with some great five mile hiking vista views at the 10,000 Galisteo Basin Preserve, an hour and 15 away. We had a blast and the hosts were super responsive and helpful!

very beautiful landscape. worth the drive out of town. Perfect if you want somewhere off the beaten path and a rural retreat with gorgeous mountain views. The hosts were spectacular. We were not prepared for the well water of the property, but Chad and Bernadette were very generous and walked over their last gallon of bottled water. Bernadette informed me of all the animals on the property and it brought so much joy to go pet the dogs and say hi to the cats. Met Cylde and he was very friendly and sweet. The kitchen was amazingly stocked with all the basics. A home away from home. I recommend this if you're looking for a place to get away, because it is about a 30-minute drive from town. Stop in Las Vegas and grab food to cook with and water bottles for your whole stay if you aren't looking to drive much. Overall had a wonderful time, I definitely recommend

Chad was a nice host. However, we were scheduled to visit for three days and left after two. The internet worked one of two days(no cell service or tv without it). There was no heat the entire time we were there, except for a wood burning stove. With recent wind and snow it was not sufficient to keep the cabin warm. Received a refund for the night we did not stay, however, received no refund for the two nights that were miserable with no heat.
