A very pleasant stay at Lorena's. She is such a lovely person who waited for us on the first day despite our late arrival. The proximity to the city centre is a real plus, as well as the courtesy breakfast on the first day. The fact that the room is on the roof terrace, is amazing! It makes it very private and we can enjoy gorgeous views of Oaxaca. Recommended!

Great place to stay, really good location. Close to centro, but also has good restaurants just nearby the place itself. Lorena is very helpful.

I felt extremely welcomed staying in Lorena’s home! Lorena is very accommodating and just a lovely person. Good location outside of busy Centro area. Beautiful rooftop terrace with incredible view of Oaxaca sunrise. My Spanish speaking is not great but thankfully Lorena knows enough English to communicate. Highly recommend!

Lorena's place is AMAZING! We went for a short 3-day trip, and Lorena was the best! She greeted us at the door during check-in and gave us such a warm welcome! We loved the area we stayed in because it's right outside the Centro but within walking distance! The house is located in a beautiful, safe area away from all the noise and bustle so it's a great break Lorena's house is beautiful and the room was very clean! We had a room on the balcony and it was a gorgeous view. We woke up the second morning to a beautiful sunrise! I will say, it does get quite hot without any AC but she provides you with a fan. You are rarely in the room during the day and it cools down at night so nothing to worry about! Lorena was very easy to communicate with and was always around to help us with anything. She truly is one of the best hosts we've stayed with.

I just spent five days and had a wonderful experience at Lorena’s. She is a fantastic host, attentive to your needs yet at the same time very discreet. If you want to hang with her, she will offer a conversation, but if you need your privacy she will respect your space. I felt really at home and safe at her place. She allowed me to check in early and to use her facilities before I went to the airport way after the checkout which made a huge difference before a long flight. A really nice person!The location is absolutely fantastic, close to main attractions but away from the buzz of old town. The street where she lives is decorated with beautiful murals and there are several coffee shops around. At the end of the day I loved to hang on the rooftop terraza. And the bed in my room was very comfortable so I was well rested before another day full of activities. Highly recommend!
